Verbier below. Recently completed and spread over two spacious floors, Chalet Toundra sleeps up to 10 guests in four bedrooms.
Join the cottage from the first floor. The entrance door, with heated boot heaters and plenty of storage space, leads to the main sleeping area of the chalet. Three of the chalet's bedrooms are on the first floor; a big double bedroom with en-suite shower area, a lovely alpine-themed double bedroom, and a comfortable children's bunk area. There's also a spacious bathroom on this level.
The top floor of the chalet is home to the living and dining areas as well as the master suite, laboratory and additional bathroom with guest toilet. Framed by the wide sliding glass doors, the open plan living and dining area's uninterrupted views appear to carry you to Verbier's tracks.
The seating area is based around a typical wood-burning fireplace, with plenty of seats for the whole family. Dinner is served in the dining room, segregated from the kitchen by a large breakfast counter. Going out onto the wide patio, there's an outstanding hammock and a couch outside to enjoy the view in the glorious sunlight of the season.
The master bedroom with a TV has a wonderful en-suite bathroom. There is also a study space on the first level, a big guest shower room and bathroom, and a double bed on the mezzanine.
Prices are focused on the sole use of the chalet on a self-catering basis, without travel. This chalet is also available on a B&B basis or entirely catered on request.
