Chalet Azurite is one of three chalets in Hameau des Plan, an elite complex within a short walk from Chamonix's centre. At full capacity, the chalet can accommodate up to 16 people across three floors.
This high-end chalet has been meticulously constructed to mix rustic materials with contemporary design, resulting in the ideal balance of alpine history and a modern touch. When you enter the main living room, you are met by lofty vaulted ceilings and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Not to mention the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that bring in natural light and the central feature fireplace that dominates the living room and infuses it with a pleasant warmth. A wide balcony with amazing views of the surrounding mountains is accessible through glass doors in the main living space.
The open plan kitchen and dining room is located just beyond the living area. There is a huge table here with ample seating for the entire family to settle down and have a nice supper together. If you want to socialise, take a seat at the breakfast bar and watch your group's assigned cook prepare a delicious meal. Everything needed for a self-catered ski vacation in Chamonix is available in the kitchen.
Down on the ground level, there is access to a wide south-facing terrace, which is ideal for taking in the panoramic views and enjoying an outdoor cup of coffee. In line with the alpine motif, the outdoor cedar hot tub is also located here. The hot tub is well placed to capture the afternoon sun and is an excellent way to unwind after a hard day on the slopes.
Chalet Azurite has 6 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 16 guests. The chalet's lower ground floor has four double bedrooms with en-suite shower facilities and a bunk bedroom that can accommodate up to four people. There is an extra bedroom with four beds on the mezzanine floor. There is also an en-suite shower room in this room. If necessary, air conditioning is provided in each bedroom.
There is also a garage with ski racks and boot warmers, as well as an elevator that connects each story. There is also a separate TV room, which is ideal for youngsters to relax in.
Chalet Azurite may be combined with Chalets Alaska and Saphir to form Le Hameau des Plans, which can accommodate up to 41 people.
