The magnificent open plan living room greets you as you enter the chalet. The stylish sunken living space, dining area, breakfast nook, and kitchen all come together to provide the ideal atmosphere for entertaining, centred around an all-glass woodburning fireplace.
The living area provides comfortable sitting for everybody, with elegant lighting and the glow of the fireplace in the middle column providing ambient illumination. The surrounding windows provide beautiful long-distance views of Megève and the mountains beyond. The modern TV is concealed under a sideboard and can be elevated for cosy family movie nights. A built-in Bose sound system not only allows for cinematic watching, but also encourages you to set the tone for dinner parties or simply relaxing evenings in.
The formal dining table seats 10 guests comfortably, and gentle chandelier lighting alludes to lengthy dinners enjoyed with loved ones while regaling stories from the slopes. The kitchen overlooks this space as well as the rustic breakfast nook, which seats eight people and is drenched with morning sunlight as you prepare for the day. The kitchen is open on two sides and features a breakfast bar, all of the contemporary gadgets a cook could want, plus lots of storage space.
On the balcony outdoors, there's a tiny table for four where you may have a morning coffee or afternoon tea against the backdrop of the wide Alpine panorama. There is also a grass and steps going down to the outdoor spa area.
Moving down a floor, there are four lovely bedrooms, each well arranged, light and airy. All bedrooms have contemporary en-suite shower facilities, and the bunk room sleeps four, making it an ideal comfortable retreat for kids. The three doubles all have wall-mounted flat-screen TVs and direct access to the wrap-around patio with an outdoor spa.
The outdoor spa is a genuinely one-of-a-kind spot to relax after a day on the mountain. The beautiful wooden hot tub and barrel sauna are surrounded by a beautifully planted garden. Enjoy a candle-lit pamper session going between the two, linked by wooden boardwalks, to relax aching ski muscles. The breathtaking views are the icing on the cake, and you can enjoy them from within the sauna, which has an all-glass side that looks out over the shimmering lights of Megève and beyond to distant snowy peaks. The highlight of this magnificent cabin is a truly spectacular experience.
The enormous master suite is positioned on the chalet's top level, beneath a high vaulted ceiling with lovely oak beams. Wake up to stunning views from the luxurious 2x2m bed, and make advantage of the elegant walk-in closet under the eaves. There is also a study space around the corner with wonderful views, as well as a private terrace. The en-suite includes a soaker tub, his and her sinks, and a rain shower.
This chalet has a huge ski room that can be accessed from the lower ground floor or the garage, which can house two cars easily. Private laundry facilities are also available for your convenience.
The chalet is to be rented on a self-catered basis or with full catered service with private chef, in-resort driver and daily cleaning. Prices are based on an accommodation service only.
