A BEAUTIFUL STAND-ALONE CHALET CLOSE TO THE PISTES AND A SHORT DRIVE FROM MEGEVE

Chalet le Rocher  mixes classic architecture with modern decor and is located in its own secluded gardens a 10-minute drive from Megève‘s village center. Internally, the chalet has been completed to the finest standards, with a sophisticated and inviting ambiance throughout. The Mont d’Arbois ski lift, which whisks you up the mountain to experience the breathtaking 400 km of pistes, is also only a 5-minute drive away.

The marble-floored corridor greets you as you enter the home. The four elegant double bedrooms are located here, each with its own distinct flare thanks to striking rugs, couches, and ambient lighting. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room or bathroom, and the master suite has a big dressing area as well as a hammam shower. Three of the rooms have TVs, two have desks, and all have access to the patio. These are perfect places to unwind after a day of visiting the enormous ski region or the charming Mediaeval town.

Continuing upstairs, you enter the main living level, where a vaulted ceiling creates an outstanding impression and allows enough of light in via the wide windows. The living room is decorated in greens, neutral tones, and matte black and is set on a wood-burning fireplace. A huge L-shaped sofa encourages you to spend winter evenings with loved ones around the fireplace, or watching a movie together on the wall-mounted TV. A cosy reading nook on the mezzanine level above is ideal for curling up with a good book while the snow slowly falls outside.

The elegant bar that connects the living space to the dining area, which seats up to 10 people in comfortable and contemporary patterned chairs, is lined with plush olive-green velvet stools. Large statement golden pendant lights dangle over the table, creating a warm glow and a snug, opulent atmosphere. A kitchen hatch enables for simple service or social cooking.

The well-equipped kitchen is separated from the dining room by a modest sliding door. Large surfaces give enough of space for cooking, and you’ll find all of the high-end appliances you’ll need.

The main floor opens out to a big semi-covered balcony through sliding glass doors, where an outdoor table for eight welcomes you to enjoy sunny al fresco breakfasts when the weather permits. On this floor, there is also a guest restroom.

A huge TV room is located on the lower ground level of this beautiful mountain residence. With an inviting sofa and a large flat screen, it’s ideal for entertaining the kids with an after-dinner movie. This floor also houses the ski room and laundry room, as well as a huge garage that can accommodate up to four automobiles. There is one more parking place available outside.

The chalet is a 5-minute drive from the nearest ski lift and a 10-minute drive from the nearest ski resort.

The chalet is available on a s elf-catered service basis with Concierge service and daily housekeeping service.
