Chalet Tuftra Findelbach was completed in March 2020 and is located in the Zermatt district of Winkelmatten. Skiing can be done from the chalet through the meadow and down to the Matterhorn Express lift. You can ski down the Moosweg piste to the chalet door, in good condition. There's even a bus stop just outside the door from which you can catch a shuttle to or onto the ski lift.
This free-standing chalet is ideal for big parties and is light and airy with stunning views of the Matterhorn. There is a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area in the upper floor of the chalet with a stunning 360-degree wood-burning fire cube in its center. There is plenty of room to sit on and 20 guests are placed on a sturdy oak dining table. Also on this floor, there is an office and cinema room right next to the lounge with TV, DVD and Playstation.
The spa area with a steam room, sauna and fully equipped gym with a range of machines and free-weights is perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Outside is a hot tub with spectacular views of the Matterhorn. In addition, there is a ski room with heated boot warmers.
Chalet Tuftra Findelbach sleeps 19 guests. There are two wide en-suite double bedrooms on the ground floor, one with views of the Matterhorn, and the other with a brook. There are two additional double bedrooms sharing a shared shower room and a lounge that can be set up on request as a separate bedroom. There is a double en-suite studio on the lower ground floor, and an en-suite twin / double bedroom with a third bed above. Over the upper floor there is a bunk room for children.
