Apartment Heidi is situated in the heart of Zermatt, between the church and the hospital, near the main shopping street. South facing, it overlooks a roaring mountain torrent and a jumble of village roofs with mountains above it. There are sunny wooden balconies on both sides. It's the ultimate hideaway, for the best of all worlds: old and modern. Comprising the entire first floor of a conventional, crisp, wooden, Swiss chalet, this is a lovely luxury chalet apartment-a true Zermatt jewel that sleeps up to 6 guests. Much attention has been paid to upgrading the old alpine scenery while at the same time offering any new comfort and a feeling of comfortable luxury. You will be furnished with weathered wood paneling and local granite doors, an ancient stone fireplace with a contemporary glass shutter, wooden ceiling beams, a special dining table consisting of a traditional harrow under a glass roof, a generously-sized new and fully-equipped kitchen and many more. There are three quaint bedrooms and three modern bathrooms. Bedroom one is the biggest, with a regular double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedroom two can be arranged either as a double bed or as two single beds. The bathroom is next door, with a tub and a toilet. Bedroom three is the shortest, with a 160 cm double bed, but it has the bonus of having the biggest en-suite bathroom with a corner bath, rain shower and toilet. You should be aware that these two bedrooms are small; nevertheless, their interior design is romantic, giving one the feeling of snuggling down in a luxurious mountain cabin. The fee is for the sole use of the apartment on a self-catering basis. No travel is included. This property will be quoted and charged in Swiss Francs.
