Located above Zermatt, Chalet Castor provides a bird's-eye view of the village and the surrounding peaks. The chalet is just 200 metres from the Matterhorn Express lift station, providing easy access to the slopes. Just a two-minute walk from the property is a lift (built within the mountain) that takes you to the village with its many stores, bars, and restaurants. Set over three floors, the chalet can host up to eight guests in four bedrooms.
Tasteful in their architecture, the interiors combine conventional alpine designs with modern finishes. Featuring wood and stone, the main living area is open plan with welcoming sofas and armchairs, a spectacular wood-burning stove, and a flat-screen TV. There is an elegant seating room for ten people and a well-equipped kitchen. Geothermal ventilation helps reduce the carbon emissions of the chalet.
A large terrace with an outdoor hot tub can be accessed from the living room. This is a perfect way to rest while admiring the breathtaking views of the mountains.
Chalet Castor has four double bedrooms, three of which can be equipped as twin bedrooms. There are three en-suite bathrooms and balconies, and the fourth one has an en-suite shower area. Both rooms have their own satellite TV and mountain views. Chalet Castor is part of a group named Les Perles made up of four chalets that can be leased together depending on the size of the group.
