The chalet nestles at the bottom of the river with spectacular views of the famous Matterhorn, conveniently situated a short walk from the main ski lift Klein Matterhorn and the village center.
Core to the Backstage Loft is its big, airy and bright open plan kitchen, living room and dining area in the main structure featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that enhance the chalet 's distinctive architectural design and charm, and open wood fire.
Guests access four of the spacious en-suite bedrooms from this central area. The fifth master bedroom is housed in the adjacent 700-year-old converted glass-encased chalet, whose architecture highlights its original wooden beams.
Following an enjoyable day on the slopes, guests can watch the new movie in the dedicated cinema of the chalet, or relay in the indoor hot tub with a bottle of champagne. The hot tub is enclosed by windows which allow you to fill your senses with the spectacular backdrop. As if that isn't enough, the glass wall can be opened with the click of a button and the indoor hot tub is magically turned into an outdoor one.
The lower chalet floor houses the relaxation area with pool, hammam, sauna and workout center, and ski room.
The Backstage Loft is a one-off masterpiece that fuses the ancient adjoining chalet's traditional wooden architecture, with the main chalet's modern flair. In its own design studio and workshop located in the village, Heinz Julen has custom-made every fitting and piece of furniture to complement the overall design of the house. This property is truly a gem in the luxury chalet offerings in Zermatt and the professional team can make sure your stay is as unforgettable as the chalet itself.
