The lovely Chalet Carat, perfectly located in Courchevel 1850, combines classic charm with stylish furniture, a trendy colour palette, and all the modern amenities you would expect from an alpine house. It sleeps up to 10 people in five bedrooms and is the ideal spot to gather your loved ones for an amazing ski vacation. The chalet's living space is on the upper level, where a luxurious L-shaped sofa near the fireplace invites you to snuggle up in front of the TV and relax together. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow in winter sunlight, which is surrounded by highly patterned draperies and provides views of the mountains beyond. The exquisite dining table seats 8 people over three comfy armchairs and an L-shaped bench, and the comforting ambient lighting creates the ideal environment for family meals. With the built-in Sonos system, you can set the tone for the whole area.
The high-spec open-plan kitchen overlooks the dining area and is equipped with everything a chef could want, including stainless steel surfaces, Smeg appliances, a De'longhi coffee maker, and KitchenAid, for easily whipping up your favourite foods.
On this floor, there is a guest toilet and a children's bedroom sleeping two, which is connected by a few steps to a huge shower room for convenience. Children will like this comfortable refuge with its arched windows and a TV where they can watch their favourite movies while parents have after-dinner cocktails next door.
The bedroom floor is located down the staircase that snakes around the spectacular statement crystal chandeliers. The luxurious master bedroom features a comfortable lounging area, floor to ceiling windows, access to the terrace, a gorgeous white marble en-suite bathroom, and a unit at the foot of the bed that holds the retractable TV.
The other two double bedrooms on this floor feature wall-mounted TVs and their own marble-finish shower facilities, with one sharing access to the master's patio. You'll wake up feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready for an exhilarating day on the slopes since each room is arranged in neutral, tranquil colours with plenty of Alpine soft furnishings.
The lower bottom level of Chalet Carat is dedicated to leisure, relaxation, and entertainment. With a white marble-style indoor swimming pool, bar, and spa area, you may bathe in the pool or drink a glass at the bar. The velvet-walled home theatre is ideal for movie evenings, complete with popcorn, your favourite film on the huge screen, and your loved ones - burrow into the comfortable sofas and unwind together.
Down a few steps past the wine cave, there is a second WC, a storage room for your outerwear with an adjoining private wash room, a spacious ski / storage area with heated boot warmers, and a sauna to relax tired ski legs in. You may enter the large common subterranean garage from here.
A additional apartment is included in the capacity and is reached by a short walk from the chalet through the garage or through the main garage entrance. The apartment is furnished in a more intimate and classic manner, and it has a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a living room with a smart TV, and a kitchen/dining area. This second area is great for an overflow of visitors to enjoy their own friendly and private environment.
Gather on the sun-trap patio for breakfast al fresco at the outdoor table seating four, before taking the short stroll to the Bellecôte slope, from where you may ski to other lifts and explore the vast Les Trois Vallées ski region. With the village centre only a short drive away, you can easily enjoy the wonderful shopping, luxury pubs, and tasty restaurants.
The subterranean garage in the Domaine de Bellecôte is shared by 5 chalets and is accessible from the lower ground level.
There is a two-week minimum for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
