Chalet Grand Coeur is a beautiful newly-built chalet in the exclusive Verbier neighbourhood with views of the village and distant snowy peaks across the valley.
The chalet is less than a 1-minute drive from the Savolyeres lift station, which whisks you up the mountain in minutes and is ideal for people who wish to immerse themselves in the spectacular wintery scenery. This is a wonderful getaway for a family ski vacation, sleeping up to eight people and offering outstanding deluxe facilities.
The open-plan living room on the top level has a double-height vaulted ceiling, creating a great sense of spaciousness with a comforting chalet ambience owing to the exposed wood throughout. The chic interior design has a dining table that seats eight people, stunning Scandinavian style wishbone chairs, and luxurious sofas grouped around a rustic stone fireplace. The staggered pendant lampshades give a pleasant mood to the dining space, making it great for memorable dinners together, and the level's accessible guest WC/shower room makes it excellent for entertaining.
A breakfast bar with stools separates the room from the sleek modern kitchen, which is outfitted with all of the newest appliances. Above this is a lovely mezzanine level, a cosy room perfect for cuddling up with your favourite vacation book. Large sliding glass doors on the other side of the room lead out onto the sun-drenched terrace, a lovely spot to rest and take in the fresh Alpine air and unimpeded views. The exquisite master suite is also on this floor, replete with a wonderful bathtub surrounded by windows overlooking the mountains, a separate shower, WC, and shared balcony. It is the ideal soothing room to unwind in, finished in cool neutral tones and wood.
On the main sleeping floor, you'll discover another double bedroom, a twin/double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. The double room has the same modest colour palette as the single room, as well as its own en-suite shower room with terrace access to the outdoor swimming pool. Each of the twin and twin/double bedrooms has an en-suite shower room, and the twin bedroom has its own common WC.
The wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool is located on this level. It's beautiful to take a plunge here while the snow falls all around and steam rises into the freezing air under partial shelter yet open to the elements on all sides. With trees all around, this is a secluded and calm spot to rest after a day of skiing. This floor also has a ski room with plenty of storage space.
