Chalet l'Arctique, located in the heart of Courchevel 1850, is a lovely alpine refuge just meters from the main lift and a short walk from the town core. This chalet, which accommodates 10+2 people in six wonderfully fitted bedrooms, is the ideal combination of modern comfort and alpine charm. Step into the home's heart on the pleasant top-floor living room, which has an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. Large doors let in plenty of mountain light and provide breathtaking views of the ski lift, hamlet, and distant Aiguille de Mey. The well-equipped kitchen has a double-door American refrigerator and elegant cabinetry. Gather around the solid walnut dining table, which seats up to 16 and is lighted by an exquisite tear-drop chandelier, making it an ideal spot for nights spent with loved ones. The comfortable living room has a wrap-around sofa and two velvet armchairs, all centred around a hanging wood-burning fireplace. Descend to the next floor to find a double en-suite bedroom with a shower room and balcony access that provides beautiful views of the village and mountains. Another double bedroom on this floor has an en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bathtub and balcony access. The third bedroom is a multipurpose bunk room that may sleep two youngsters and has an en-suite bathroom with twin sinks. Continue down to the next floor to reach the master double bedroom, which has balcony access, a desk, and a comfortable lounge space for morning coffee. The en-suite bathroom has a large bath ideal for relaxing tired muscles and a sleek black marble washbasin. The second bedroom on this floor receives natural light through two French doors, has balcony access, and includes an en-suite bathroom and separate WC. All bedrooms have a traditional alpine chic character, with dark wood, floor-to-ceiling closets and LED mirror lighting in the bathroom. The first level features an entry hall with a sitting room for two, a fireplace, and a small kitchenette. There are ski lockers with boot heaters on this level too, as well as the final double bedroom, which has a 140cm bed with an en-suite shower room. A laundry and dryer space with a guest WC adjoins this bedroom but is also accessible from the corridor. Descend to the spa floor to experience a haven of tranquilly. Enjoy the indoor swimming pool and hot tub, complete with a flat-screen TV - the ideal place to relax and stretch after a day on the Courchevel slopes.
