Chalet Saphir, one of three homes in the private hamlet of Hameau des Plans in Chamonix, mixes alpine history and a fresh modern style chalet. The chalet offers 5 en-suite bedrooms that can sleep up to 12 guests.
The main living space, open to the kitchen and dining area, is located on the middle floor of the chalet. The huge L-shaped sofa is positioned here around the glass-fronted fireplace. This, along with the high vaulted ceilings and soft lighting, contributes to the creation of a home away from home ambiance. The beautiful views of Chamonix and the surrounding mountains, which may be viewed best from the balcony reached from the living room, are one of the chalet's most appealing features.
The chalet features two eating places, one in the center of the room, which takes use of the spectacular views, and the other in the kitchen area for breakfast. This is ideal for gatherings if the children and adults want to dine separately! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering vacation, including two ovens. The chalet includes a covered outside table and chairs on the balcony for alfreso dinner.
Chalet Saphir is an excellent choice for people seeking outside space. In line with the alpine concept, there is an outdoor cedar hot tub on the wide south-facing sun terrace with panoramic views.
The hot tub is well positioned to capture the afternoon sun and is an excellent way to unwind after a hard day. There is also a sauna for further relaxation.
Chalet Saphir features 5 bedrooms spread across 3 levels. There are four double bedrooms on the ground floor, each with its own en-suite shower room and toilet. These guestrooms also offer direct access to the outside terrace, which houses the hot tub. There is an extra bedroom with four beds on the mezzanine floor. There is also an en-suite shower room in this room. If necessary, air conditioning is installed in each bedroom.
There is also a garage with ski racks and boot warmers, as well as an elevator that connects each floor.
Prices are based on the chalet being used exclusively for self-catering with mid-stay housekeeping.
The chalet may also be booked with full chalet cooking service, which includes daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and 6 evening dinners. Prices are based on 12 people; please inquire for pricing for smaller groups.
On request, a driver service with a variety of service choices is also available.
