Chalet SHL

Run by a French hotel company, Chalet SHL in Méribel is staffed by a butler, a chef and a housekeeping team who are on hand during your stay to satisfy your every need. They have a degree of personal service that rivals some of the best hotels in the world. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served every day, the chef often prepares evening meals at a fixed price or at an extra price, and you have the absolute right to pick what you want and when. The splendid underground winery was built into the mountain rock and is filled with some of the finest wines in the country, from Pétrus to Château Smith Haut Lafitte.

After an exhausting day of skiing, there is a lovely spa centre, complete with a countercurrent indoor swimming pool, a hammock and a massage centre. After a dip, pick a book from a large library, curl up on a couch with a bottle of something in front of a blazing fire, and indulge in the fact that all will be taken care of. The home cinema room offers children (and adults) with a ready-made chill-out environment where they can sit back and watch movies to their heart’s content.

The accommodation has been built primarily to cater for wider gatherings of family or friends, with adequate floor space and rooms for up to 15 guests. Spread over two floors, consisting of one master suite, three double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms with double basins, baths and separate showers. The cinema room can also be turned into a double en-suite on request. There are two additional children’s quarters, both of which includes two sets of bunks, all of which have their own bathroom.

All rooms are luxuriously decorated and blend sumptuous natural materials with state-of-the-art, classic-style contemporary technology.

Chalet SHL is a premium catered chalet with breakfast and afternoon tea served every day. A la carte meals are prepared in advance and paid individually at the resort. Bottles may be picked from the cellar and paid for in the resort.

The rates are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 15 visitors and provide the services of the staff and the private chef. Food and drinks purchased shall be charged locally. No travel is included.
