Domaine de l’Orme is one of the most luxurious ski chalets in Méribel.
The warm and pleasant living room of Domaine de l'Orme will greet you as you enter the chalet on the ground level. The area's main point is a spectacular chandelier, but the large windows filling the whole wall attract attention outdoors to take in the gorgeous snow-covered scenery, bathing the space with light. It is the ideal spot for entertaining or simply relaxing with loved ones while the snow falls outside, decorated in russet tones and has lots of soft seats around the stone hearth of the fireplace. The little table in the corner invites you to enjoy after-dinner game evenings, and the ambiently lit bookcases surrounding the walls provide a domestic sense and character to this lovely, high-ceilinged space.
The dining room is nearby. With seating for up to 14 people and a bar incorporated into the sideboard, your hosts may offer your favourite wines or drinks to go with excellent dinners with friends and family. Another more informal dining table seats six, big work surfaces, and high-end appliances provide adequate space and equipment for your private chef to produce a cuisine suited to your particular tastes and requirements in the kitchen.
There are also two delightful tiny reading rooms with shelves full of hidden gems to add to your holiday reading list. On snowy days or after a day of skiing, hunker down here and read a nice book. There is a foosball table, a desk (with views that may distract you from your job! ), and french doors leading to the balcony, from where you may enjoy the breathtaking vista through snowy woods to distant hills. Choose between the cosy TV nook on the mezzanine level and the bigger TV room on the main floor, where everyone can settle up and enjoy after-dinner movies together.
The spa at Domaine de l'Orme is located on the lowest floor and is a genuine refuge to unwind to after a busy or chilly day. You can totally relax without leaving your chalet thanks to a huge indoor swimming pool, hammam, massage room, relaxation space, and a gorgeous sunken wooden outdoor hot tub. Soaking in the outdoor hot tub is a great joy; you'll be alone with the cold winter air, the trees, and the big mountains. - it's difficult to imagine a more tranquil picture.
This chalet's six bedrooms are exquisitely decorated with high-quality fixtures, gentle lighting, and luxurious materials. These calm homes are difficult to resist, decorated in subtle forest greens and warm earthy tones, all with large windows or balconies where you can soak in the surrounding scenery.
The top-floor master double bedroom features a huge desk, a comfortable reading area with a sofa, a walk-in dressing room, and a private balcony with panoramic views to wake up to. A beautiful wood burner adds to the snug chalet atmosphere, as does an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath, separate shower, and his and her sinks.
The spa level houses four of the remaining five bedrooms. There is a great family suite with a bunk bedroom that can accommodate up to four children and an adjacent queen bedroom, both with a large shower room. The other lovely bedrooms on this floor are one fixed double and one twin/double, each with an en-suite bathroom, dressing area desk, and plenty of storage space.
The last double bedroom is located on the living floor, and it, too, has been furnished to the highest standards, with its own en-suite bathroom, dressing area, and balcony access.
This chalet also offers a huge ski room with boot warmers and ski and outerwear storage. There are three parking places outside. Please keep in mind that there is a tiny staff unit on the lowest floor that is strictly for staff use. Staff may be present in the chalet during your stay, as there is a staff accommodation (only for staff).
