Chalet Papillon is a brilliant combination of classic alpine architecture and a modern flair, located just yards from the pistes, Bellevarde and Solaise gondola stations, and ski school meeting locations. The chalet has been completed to an extremely high quality and features some innovative modern additions. This deluxe chalet sleeps up to 10 people and is ideal for both friends and family groups due to its central position in the village of Val d'Isère.
The open living space with separate kitchen takes up the full top level, with floor to ceiling windows and a big balcony providing spectacular mountain views. This chalet gives a classic Savoyard ambiance that is not only warm but also incredibly inviting, with double ceiling height, a corner fireplace, and traditional beam framing. A pleasant living area is on one side of the room, while the other has a huge dining table for the entire party and a second table with banquette seating - great for a quiet breakfast or children's dinner.
A balcony off the main living area provides stunning views of the peaks above and the famed Bellevarde slope. Separately, above the main room is a cosy mezzanine TV snug, which is ideal for any younger guests.
The lower ground level has the swimming pool and Hammam, a wonderful respite after a day on the slopes. The pool is a good size for swimming a few lengths or splashing about with the family.
The apartment is sensibly divided into two levels, with two double bedrooms on each level, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom includes an additional bunk room via the 'Jack and Jill' bathroom, making it suitable for two children.
The chalet also offers a ski room with boot warmers for all of your ski equipment.
Prices for B&B service are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 people, which includes daily breakfast and afternoon tea preparation from the butler, as well as daily housekeeping.
Prices for a catered service are based on 10 people and include the services of a butler and private chef for daily breakfast service and a three-course dinner service on five evenings, as well as in-resort driver service.
