Chalet Mathilda is located in the peaceful and private “Fermes de Val” in the village of Val d’Isère. An original stone fireplace complements the enormous open-plan living room and dining room on the second floor, and a large sun terrace adds to an already stunning location. The panoramic windows take advantage of the breathtaking mountain surroundings. The fifth en-suite bathroom, located on the top level, is a joy. It lies alone beneath the eaves, full of charm and romanticism, and feels like staying in an authentic mountain chalet.
Four bedrooms are located on the first floor, each with its own private bathroom furnished with excellent Italian tiles and crisp white porcelain. The bedrooms and living area are very distinctive, with a plethora of beams and panels of ancient, salvaged wood.
The fantastic health facility on the ground level has an indoor swimming pool with jet stream and hammam (steam room). One of the six bedrooms in the chalet is on the ground level.
Prices for B&B service are based on private use of the chalet for up to 12 people, which includes daily breakfast and afternoon tea preparation from the butler, as well as daily housekeeping.
Prices for catered service are based on up to 12 people and include the services of a butler and private chef for daily breakfast service and a three-course dinner service on five evenings, as well as in-resort driver service.
