The magnificent Chalet Deux Riés sleeps 10 people and is the ideal base for a winter break with family and friends ski holiday in Verbier.
You are well positioned to enjoy both the slopes and the village, as you are just a short walk from both the Les Esserts and Le Rouge pistes and ski lifts, and a five-minute drive from the town centre.
The living and dining rooms are wonderfully designed in warm tones with classic elements and old furnishings, creating a very welcome environment. Alpine materials are thoughtfully mixed with elegant design to provide a lovely atmosphere in which to rest and entertain after skiing. The living area is filled with warm light from the french doors that open to the terrace, and there is plenty of space for relaxing.
Before supper, fall into the plush sofas in front of the crackling fire and have a drink of champagne. The huge dining table, which can comfortably accommodate 12 people, is the ideal setting for family feasts. With Sonos throughout the home, you can create the ideal atmosphere for every occasion. The open-plan kitchen adjoins the dining area and is excellent for cooking evening meals.
Outside, a huge table seats 10 for al fresco eating, and there are two sun loungers for soaking up the sun rays on a sunny day. A bonfire surrounded by ample of seating, a huge BBQ, and outdoor lighting are just around the corner, great for après ski and evenings regaling tales from the mountain.
The chalet has been carefully built with numerous semi-levels to create even more space. After leaving the living area, proceed up a level to the first elegant twin/double bedroom, which features a work area, TV, ample storage space, and a light bathroom with a separate shower.
The master suite is located up a short flight of steps and has its own closed-off mezzanine floor above the sitting area. It is a great area to unwind in, with a private balcony affording fantastic views to accompany your morning coffee, a TV, a separate dressing room, and a huge en suite with a bathtub, separate shower, and his and her sinks. If desired, the bed may easily be constructed as a twin.
A additional double bedroom with an en suite shower room is located one level down from the living area, as is a tiny staircase leading to the expansive study. This is a pretty magnificent space, beautifully designed in a classic style with leather, wood, and dark tones. The circular table here might be used for candle-lit game nights with friends and a post-dinner digestif. On this floor, there is also a guest restroom.
The fantastic entertainment and leisure floor is located on a lower level. To your left is a big cinema room with plenty of comfy seats facing the massive wall-to-wall screen, as well as an overhead projector and surround sound for an incredible movie night viewing experience. There is a fully-equipped bar area where snacks and beverages may be readily obtained!
The tranquil spa is only across the corner and features a hammam, sauna, shower room, and relaxation area with Sonos to establish a relaxing ambiance. The enormous indoor hot tub is next, close to a wood stove and a panoramic window with views of the far mountain summits. With a door leading to an outside area, this is a refuge for relaxation and peace and quiet after a day of skiing.
This level also has the convenient 'separate' apartment, which is located in the main chalet but can be closed off and has its own entrance. It is great for extended family or friends because it has a full kitchen, living area with TV, terrace access, one double bedroom with an en suite shower room, and one twin/double bedroom with an en suite bathroom.
The private washing room and wine cellar may be found on the way down to the huge garage. The chalet also has an enclosed garage for two cars and lots of storage room for skis, boots, and winter clothing on the lower level. This level is easily connected to the entertainment and living floors by an elevator.
