Chalet Ilulissat is one of three chalets that comprise Le Hameau de Marcandou in Courchevel 1550, surrounded by the trees. The chalet is located in a discreet and calm area of Courchevel 1550, only 400 meters from the resort center and the slopes. This wood and stone chalet has been elegantly refurbished over two floors with a mix of luxurious textures and raw finishes. Many artefacts have been recycled, and there is a recurring forest motif.
The chalet's entry takes you along a corridor to a large ski room where you may store your equipment. A staircase leads up to a large open-plan living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a balcony at one end. At the center of the living area is a contemporary fireplace, which is flanked by comfy sofas and armchairs, as well as a nice dining area with bench-style seating on one side. Meals may be cooked in the adjacent fully equipped kitchen.
Doors from the living room open to a large south-facing patio with a Nordic bath – the ideal place to rest after a day skiing in the Three Valleys ski area. Downstairs is a comfortable TV room that may also be utilized as an extra bedroom if necessary.
Chalet Ilulissat features three en-suite bedrooms, one on the upper floor with a stunning master suite and two on the lower level with twin/double beds. The main suite contains a whirlpool bathtub and opens onto the terrace.
The chalet is to be rented on a self-catered service with extra services on demand.
