This superbly designed chalet Vieux Pont, perched on the cliffs above the Isère river valley, has a unique position and perfectly encapsulates the chic experience in Val d'Isère. Michel Covarel has created a stunning chalet with a super-luxurious ambiance in a fantastic position. The interiors are truly gorgeous; the chalet is spread across four floors, with a vast open-plan living and dining area on the upper floor. Five en-suite bedrooms are listed below, one of which is constructed right into the river's rock wall. A sophisticated pool and hammam may be found on the ground floor. You may ski back to the entrance via the blue Mangard ski slope, which is only 150m from the Le Fornet cable car.
You enter the reception area and ski room, which is attractively situated adjacent to her sister chalet, Rive Gauche, where you will discover a modest spot for ski storage and the all-important boot warmers. On this level, there is also a master en-suite bedroom with king/twin beds and a wrap-around balcony. Moving down a level, you'll discover three enormous king/twin rooms, each with its own individuality and character; one has an antique carved door headboard and the chalet's rock face that runs down the interior of the room.
Returning to the lowest floor, there is a private bedroom with wonderful views of the ancient bridge and a tiny patio. There is also an indoor pool with a flow machine and a soothing steam room. The big open plan living and dining space is located on the chalet's uppermost floor. This level receives a lot of light because it has a triple aspect. The reclaimed wood table seats 10 people, and there is also a card and games table that seats four people. The log fireplace is the focal point of the room, and there is a huge flat screen television for viewing sports or movies.
The chalet is well serviced. Our skilled chefs will contact you before to your arrival to discuss your weekly meals. We also have an in-house host who offers an amazing concierge service to assist you with scheduling ski lessons, guides, equipment, and restaurant reservations. The chalet includes access to our 4x4 Landrover driving service and chauffeur, who also serves as our "go to" person for snow and weather updates, as well as lift openings.
Chalet Rive Gauche may be coupled with Chalet Vieux Pont to accommodate a group of up to twenty people.
