Located above Zermatt, Chalet Ibron provides a bird's-eye view of the village and the surrounding peaks. The chalet is just 200 metres from the Matterhorn Express lift station, providing easy access to the slopes. Just a two-minute walk from the property is a lift (built within the mountain) that takes you to the village with its many stores, bars and restaurants. Set over three floors, the chalet can host up to eight guests in four bedrooms.
Tasteful in its architecture, the interiors combine conventional alpine designs with modern finishes. On the ground floor is a corridor that opens into an open plan living space, complete with a revolving fireplace, satellite TV and a music system. There is an elegant seating room for eight people and a well-equipped kitchen. The living area opens onto a wide, sunny terrace, suitable for al fresco dining when the weather is good.
The top two floors are split into four apartments. On the first floor, there is a comfortable junior suite with a seating space, an en-suite bathroom, and a balcony. There is also a further double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and balcony on this level.
Featuring sloping wooden chalet-style ceilings, the master suite on the first floor is breathtaking. As well as offering stunning views, there is an open plan bathroom with a separate tub and a private sauna. There is also a smaller double bedroom on this level, which uses the bathroom on the floor below. Three of the bedrooms have their own balcony, and both of them have satellite TV. Chalet Ibron is part of a group named Les Perles made up of four chalets that can be leased together depending on the size of the group.
