The Parrot Penthouse apartment, with a large 135m2 split across the two top floors of a beautiful chalet building with elevator access, is new to our inventory of premium accommodation in Zermatt and fresh to the market. It is situated on a hillside with spectacular views of Zermatt village and a partial view of the Matterhorn. The Matterhorn Express is an easy 600m walk away, and there is also a bus stop just outside the main gate. 350m metres away are the nearest stores.
The Parrot Penthouse has three bedrooms and accommodates six people. Two of the bedrooms are doubles with en-suite bathrooms, while the third offers a bunk bed ideal for children. The double beds may be set up as either doubles or Austrian twins (separate mattresses in the same bed frame).
With a high sloping wooden beamed roof and large floor to ceiling windows, the Parrot Penthouse offers a bright and modern airy vibe. These provide a stunning view of the Dom and Täschhorn mountain peaks, which shine at dusk. Zermatt, with its dazzling lights at night, is just at your feet. During the day, you may gaze out the large balcony onto the mature silver birch and pine trees.
The modern designer kitchen is open plan, leading to the dining room with its large hardwood table and enough seats. A wood-burning fireplace can be found in the living room.
A double bedroom with an en-suite shower / WC and a desk are located on the main level. This level also has a bunk-bedroom with a shower/WC opposite. This bedroom has an own balcony.
The other double bedroom is located on the top level (accessible by a spiral staircase), and it has an en-suite bathroom with a huge soaking tub and a separate shower room With WC. This bedroom has an own balcony.
The apartment has a washing machine. There is also a ski room and a laundry room in the chalet structure.
Prices are based on self-catering usage of the apartment with use of the communal spa facilities and a complimentary e-taxi from the village to your accommodation.
