With a surface area of 850 m2, Chalet Makini is a fine illustration of contemporary Alpine architecture in Verbier. New art and decor, glittering chandeliers and sumptuous fabrics have been mixed with ancient wooden columns, polished oak flooring, natural stones, vintage objects and lavish furs to create an elegant and enchanting living room. With two floors and a dedicated pool, the chalet will sleep ten adults and one child in five en-suite double bedrooms. With ski-in / ski-out connections and five-star services, this property is suitable for skiers, non-skiers and families alike.
The chalet has two living rooms, based around a massive stone fireplace dating back to the 18th century, where you can lean back and relax on one of the cozy sofas or armchairs. As well as the spacious living room, the ground floor now hosts to a well-equipped kitchen and an exquisite dining space featuring a beautiful chandelier of cascading glass petals. If you prefer fine wine, the vast and outstanding wine cellar of the chalet is filled with a variety of unique vintages.
Extensive balconies and terraces circle the chalet, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the view of the magnificent mountains in the background. Some of the uniquely built bedrooms do have keys to them.
Just 100 metres from the main chalet is one of Verbier's largest private spas, particularly reserved for guests staying at Makini. Take a bath in the luxurious indoor swimming pool, chill in the hot tub, sauna or hammam, or catch a massage. There is also a well-equipped treadmill and a large restroom for post-workout recovery.
