Apartment Madeleine is a luxury apartment in Le Refuge de Solaise, located on the Solaise mountain above the tourist community of Val d'Isère. The property, which sleeps 8 to 10 guests on two levels, is contemporary and decorated in Alpine chic style. This one-of-a-kind offering effortlessly combines a spectacular setting, amazing hotel facilities, and private space, making it an ideal base for a celebration holiday, group gathering, or family retreat.
The lower floor holds the living area, which is a wide room that includes the lounge, dining area and kitchen. The comfy grey and brown furniture in the lounge complements the mountain motif throughout the home. The lounge's high wood ceilings and towering windows, which overlook Le Refuge de Solaise's terrace restaurant and the mountains beyond, give the area an airy sense, while the warming fireplace provides a comfortable focal point to congregate around on chilly winter nights. The dining table can easily accommodate ten people, and the elegant, modern kitchen has plenty of room to create some delightful mountain delicacies, with a breakfast bar adjoining for a less formal dining experience.
The main living room leads to a large balcony, where you can fully experience the serenity of our Alpine Retreat while sitting above the mountain.
Apartment Madeleine - Refuge de Solaise has five bedrooms and can accommodate a maximum of ten people. The two bedrooms on the second level are the most spacious, with plenty of floor space and en-suite showers. One of these rooms includes a standalone bathtub and its own private terrace, providing a sense of complete privacy. On the bottom floor, there are two more spacious double bedrooms, as well as a beautiful bunk bedroom that sleeps two, both with en-suite shower facilities.
Three of the double bedrooms may be arranged as twin rooms to accommodate your group's sleeping arrangements.
Guests staying in Apartment Madeleine have access to all of the luxurious facilities of Le Refuge de Solaise. A bar lounge and two restaurants provide a fantastic eating experience. The amazing spa, which includes a 25-meter swimming pool, two Jacuzzis, two Hammams, an outdoor sauna, and four massage and treatment rooms, is the crown jewel of the facilities available. There is plenty of time to rest and recuperate in the refuge, so even if the wind is howling and the snow is falling, you can be occupied without having to brave the elements. There is a gym for additional exercices.
In addition, the Refuge de Solaise provides a ski room with private boot lockers and free parking in the village.
Please keep in mind that due to its remote location at altitude, Le Refuge de Solaise is only accessible by the Solaise gondola. The gondola works from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving access from the village. Beginning December 10th, the gondola will operate from 7pm-11pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, providing access to and from the village on these evenings. From Sunday to Wednesday, there is no entry to Le Refuge de Solaise after 4.30 p.m., and there is no chance of leaving the hotel and going to the village between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m., for security reasons.
