This stand-alone Chalet Inuit, which sleeps up to 12 people in five separately furnished bedrooms, is an ideal winter escape for a big family or group of friends. Its inconspicuous position, tucked into the slope of the mountain on the outskirts of the forest above Val d'Isère, provides spectacular views of the valley's snowy peaks.
The chalet's entrance is on the first floor, where you'll also find the ski room, which has a boot warmer and plenty of space for skis and snowboards. The first of the five bedrooms is on this floor, with a double height ceiling and two massive windows that provide the impression of waking up in the middle of an alpine forest. In addition, the bedroom features an en-suite shower room, a shared separate WC, and a spacious balcony with lovely snowy views to wake up to. On this floor, there is also a guest restroom.
Taking the steps down will lead you to the chalet's spectacular open plan kitchen, living, and dining space, which has been created to offer a friendly, warm, and peaceful entertainment room. The views of the snowy mountains beyond are framed by a bank of wide windows at the far end of the room. The room's center feature is the big open fireplace, which is flanked by open bookcases on each side. The custom sheepskin corner sofa adds to the room's comfortable and serene vibe. The elegant circular marble dining table easily accommodates eight guests, and the open plan architecture of the rooms allows for fireplace eating. The kitchen is hidden behind the stairs, giving it a private atmosphere while keeping whoever is cooking in the loop. This level also houses the second bedroom, the family suite, which has a twin/double bed and children's bunk beds as well as an en-suite shower room.
The wooden staircase goes down to the lower ground level, where one of the chalet's features, the quiet spa area, may be located. The spa, which has a huge sunken hot tub, a wide sauna, and a relaxation room, is the ideal spot to indulge in some well-deserved self-care. It has been nicely completed with an aged wood and stone mixture, giving a relaxing retreat. On this floor, there are two more bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, free standing tubs, and separate showers. This floor also houses the washing facility.
The final of the five bedrooms is located on the chalet's upper level. With double-height ceilings and a picture window at the foot of the bed, you may enjoy the mountain views from your bed. On the floor below, there is an en-suite shower room and a shared separate WC. Each bedroom in the chalet has its own Smart TV.
