Chalet Alta is an impressive luxury chalet that is sure to wow during your luxury ski vacation in Chamonix. Chalet Alta's 480m2 space will accommodate 10-14 guests and house a variety of excellent features to enjoy throughout your stay, thanks to its sensationally distinctive shape. The chalet is located in the quiet hamlet of Lavancher, a few minute’s drive to Chamonix center.
When visitors enter the chalet through the entrance door, they are greeted with the main open-plan living space. This area is filled with luxury furniture, exposed dark wood and brickwork, eye-catching artwork, and a feature fireplace that creates a feeling of grandeur and mood equal to that of a gorgeous castle. Plush, high-back sofas are strategically placed to discuss your ski plans for the week, while simultaneously enjoying the warmth of the fireplace and the snowy panorama painted across Chalet Alta's wide windows.
An enormous hardwood dining table in one corner of the main living floor offers the ideal backdrop for an evening buffet. There is ample space for the entire group to dine together comfortably under distinctive lighting, with views out to the snowy countryside beyond the chalet. The fully equipped private kitchen, hidden away and blocked off from the main living space, is ideal for your chalet team's loving dinner preparations. Alternatively, during your chef's night off, sample Chamonix's top pubs and restaurants.
Chalet Alta has several relaxation and entertainment options. An indoor swimming pool with hydrojets that can be turned into an indoor-outdoor pool by opening its glass doors is ideal after a day on the slopes. Set apart from the living area, it is great for parents to have some alone time while keeping an eye on the small ones splashing around. Downstairs, guests may utilise a sauna and steam room separated by a shower to let them rest in a zen atmosphere. To relieve weary legs, this room can be equipped with a massage table. On the lower ground level, there are additional gym facilities and a TV cosy area.
Chalet Alta beds 10-14 people in 6 bedrooms. Each bedroom is spacious - there will be no bickering about who has the 'worst' room in this chalet! A children's bunk bedroom (sleeps 4) on the bottom floor of the chalet has en-suite amenities and adjoins the TV sitting area, making it ideal for luxury family ski vacations. A double en-suite bedroom is separated from the main living level of the chalet. The remaining four double en-suite bedrooms are located upstairs. Each of the bedrooms on the top floor occupies a corner of the chalet and have balcony access, ensuring solitude and taking use of every available view.
The garage at Chalet Alta offers heated boot warmers, which are great for ski preparation and drying off any damp post-ski boots, as well as parking. The SONOS sound systems in the chalet bring those home comforts with you to the Alps.
Chalet Alta is available as a self-catering or catered option. Prices include complete chalet catering and a complementary beverages bar when booked catered. On request, a driver service can be added.
