Chalet Goûter is a cosy and contemporary luxury chalet located just outside Morzine's center. The chalet, which spans four levels, blends modern design with high-end style furnishings, making it ideal for big parties of up to 14 guests wishing to experience a luxurious ski trip in France. Chalet Goûter's thoughtful design decisions are evident from the minute you walk into the entry hall, where a handmade stone wall and spectacular use of statement lighting give you a sense of the property's opulent flair.
The Chalet Goûter's living rooms are spread throughout the property's upper two stories. On the top level, wide floor-to-ceiling windows flood a big lounge with natural light, making it a perfect spot to interact with friends or family. A log burner creates a comfortable atmosphere in which to relax, whether on the huge sofas surrounding the coffee table or the sofas in the TV area. A bar is also featured on this level, allowing the group's designated barman to create innovative concoctions for everyone.
The lounge is surrounded by stunning views of Nyon Mountain, with snow-capped evergreens creating a picturesque backdrop. Step outdoors and admire the view from the first of several balconies.
On the floor below, a stylish yet pleasant open-plan dining space provides a wide room in which to enjoy great evening meals together, surrounding a dining table built of Dutch cheese producing boards, displaying the cheese's flawlessly aged circle markings. On the other side, ultra-modern overhanging lighting illuminate the fully equipped kitchen island, where your chalet chef will create high-quality, tailor-made food. If parents need to keep an eye on their children, a modest seating area adjacent to the dining table is an excellent place to relax while they have an early dinner.
Large sliding doors lead from the dining room to the outdoor hot tub, where you can relax your muscles and have a well-deserved drink after a day on the Morzine slopes, all while admiring the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. In the summer, a nice outdoor eating area is available for alfresco apéritifs and meals.
The six large bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower or bathroom, likewise reflect the modern, high-end luxury design. On the first floor, a spacious family bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds is suitable for a couple with two children.
The remaining five double bedrooms, constructed in a timber alpine style, are spread throughout the first and second floors. Two of the double bedrooms on the first floor have access to a shared balcony from where they may take in the breathtaking views of Morzine's slopes or have a morning coffee outdoors. The double bedrooms may easily be set up as twins if the visitors so want.
Chalet Goûter has a safe ski room on the ground floor, complete with heated boot dryers, to ensure that your ski equipment is toasty and ready for the following day on the slopes. A wide off-road parking space is available for visitors coming in their own vehicles.
Prices are for exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 people, which includes full chalet food and in-resort ski lift shuttle service. Extra visitors (up to 14) may incur an additional fee.
