Horu Lodge (Horu being the local dialect name for the Matterhorn) is an exceptional luxury crafted by Studio Birk with interior design by Adelene Smith Ng, this remarkable Townhouse showcases contemporary architecture with bespoke finishes, creating an atmosphere of serenity and calm in Zermatt's prestigious Matterhorn village. The property features four elegantly appointed king bedrooms equipped with Vi-spring beds, Porto Romana lighting, custom-made Robert Langford bedside tables and headboards, and Corston fixtures. The box sprung beds offer versatility, convertible to either super-king or twin configurations, whilst each bedroom boasts handcrafted built-in birch wardrobes and natural wool carpets with underfloor heating. The bathrooms showcase Val-stone flooring and tadelakt walls, with master en-suites featuring a bath, separate shower and WC; guest bedrooms include private bathrooms with shower facilities, Cielo basin with cabinet and WC. The living area incorporates an open fireplace, magnificent Matterhorn vistas, south-facing balconies, and an Oled TV with sound bar, creating an ideal space for family gatherings. The room features smoked oak herringbone flooring, custom sofas, console tables and designer furnishings, all harmoniously blending to create an elegant yet welcoming ambiance. The space is generous, luxurious and provides authentic home comfort. The dining section showcases a walnut table and chairs, comfortably accommodating twelve guests. The kitchen comprises a fully-equipped, handcrafted birch-wood design featuring V Zug appliances, including dishwasher, oven, combi-oven, fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine and wine storage unit. Horu Lodge exhibits premium finishing throughout, with each level accessible via an elegant oak spiral staircase or lift access. The shared wellness facilities include a swimming pool with swim jet, sauna, steam room, outdoor jacuzzi and fitness suite. A dedicated treatment room allows our resident therapist to provide Swedish massage, Indian head massage, foot or full-body treatments, along with manicures, pedicures and facial services. This distinguished property sits 100 meters from the Klein Matterhorn Express, offering breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and Höhbalmen. The adjacent building across the lobby houses two additional lodges, Dufourspitz Lodge and Lyskamm Lodge, accommodating 10 and 9 guests respectively. The village centre is an 8-minute walk away, while the Klein Matterhorn Lift is just 1 minute on foot.
