Chalet Bois des Barmes, located on the outskirts of Courchevel Le Praz and covering five levels, has superb amenities and can accommodate up to 10 people in its five bedrooms. The chalet is in a prime location, only a five-minute walk from the main high-speed gondola up to Courchevel 1850, making it a perfect base for your luxury ski vacation.
On the top level, you'll find a huge, open-plan living room. This elevation location provides far-reaching views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, and a balcony terrace stretching out from the main living room takes full use of this position. Inside, the wood and stone cladding creates a great, homey yet modern environment in which to unwind and enjoy pleasant winter nights around the enormous, central fireplace. A separate reading nook is excellent for a peaceful moment with a cup of tea.
A huge dining room, large enough for your party of 10 family and friends, is set up for you to gather around for a chalet breakfast before hitting the slopes. If you prefer to spend your nights at home, the double-sided fireplace makes for an intimate setting for dining.
The genuine surprise and thrill awaits you on the bottom floor of the Chalet Bois des Barmes! The personal spa room, replete with heated swimming pool, relaxation area, and sauna, is just ready to massage those tired legs after a day on the slopes. It is an excellent place to unwind, relax, and rest. Further down inside the chalet, you will find a huge TV area with surround sound and plush seats, ideal for watching a movie or sporting event.
On the ground level, you'll find two of five well-appointed twin/double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and one adapted for those with limited mobility. The three remaining bedrooms are on the floor above. They all have balconies and en-suite bathrooms with contemporary showers. The master bedroom on this floor, on the other hand, offers a luxurious bath where you may relax your muscles after a hard day on the mountain. The rooms all exude comfort and flair, combining traditional local wood and grey slate to create a stunning contrast while remaining modern and fresh.
This chalet also has its own laundry facilities, a lift to all floors and a ski room with boot warmers and enough of storage. Anyone driving to the resort for their vacation can park in the garage.
For bigger parties, Chalet Bois des Barmes may be combined with its sister property, Chalet Bois du Ban, which also sleeps 10, for a total of up to 20 people. When the houses are rented together, visitors can use the subterranean garage to go between them.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 people and include daily cleaning and breakfast preparation by a housekeeper. Food and beverages are not included.
