Chalet Xanadu

Chalet Xanadu is a six-bedroom Morzine chalet ideal for a family vacation or group stay. Its elegant boho-chic interior design gives it a light and cosy vibe, which is accentuated by the sunlight that filters through the windows all day. Large wraparound balconies and a large terrace area also take advantage of the sunny location and breathtaking views of the Morzine valley.

The chalet has six floors (including a hidden kids’ den on the top floor). The den features games, literature, and floor-to-ceiling windows with valley views. If you need to accommodate 20 visitors, it may also serve as an extra sleeping area. A bunk room with an en-suite bathroom with both an adult height and a low washbasin for youngsters is another considerate addition for families.

The open-plan room, dining area, and kitchen have a Scandinavian feel to them. Consider basic, beautiful furniture and lighting, white sofas, and warm details like orange blankets and cushions. A TV room with comfortable seats and beanbags is tucked around the corner.

During the ski season, our hosts will replenish the logs in the lounge’s massive fireplace and offer you beverages and canapés before dinner. Our experienced private chef will construct a fine-dining menu with any requests for children’s meals or dietary concerns in mind. Our 24-hour driving service will also be included throughout the winter months, allowing your guests to easily navigate the resorts of Morzine and Les Gets.

The chalet lies on the sunny side of town, close above the road that connects Morzine and Montriond. During the summer, you may cross the street and walk into town along the Dereches River Walk, past sculptures, play spaces, and animals. The riverfront path connects to the indoor and outdoor swimming pools in Morzine, as well as the Super Morzine lift. Alternatively, it’s a 10-15-minute walk along the road to the suspension bridge, which connects to the Super Morzine lift and the town’s pubs and restaurants.

The Chalet Xanadu features six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or shower room. Three of the bedrooms have a super king bed that can be divided into two twin beds. A super king bed may be found in two of the bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is a bunk room with four double beds that may accommodate up to eight guests.

The bedrooms are divided into three floors. The bedroom on the top level provides spectacular views of Nyon and a large balcony where you can have a morning coffee while admiring the Alps. The en-suite also has a lovely freestanding egg-shaped bath. On level 3, three further bedrooms have access to a large shared balcony with spectacular views of Mont Chery, Pleney and Roc d’Enfer, as well as an en-suite bathroom or shower room. This level also contains a health room with a huge indoor sauna and shower that leads to the hot tub outside. It’s a nice spot to take in the scenery while sipping a drink of bubbly!

The bigger master suite is located on level 2 and offers direct access to a wide veranda with garden furniture. Throughout the day, it is sunny. The bunk room with four double beds is located next to the master bedroom. It offers a spacious bathroom with a bath, two sinks (one for children), and a seat-equipped shower.

There is a large lobby with enough of space for coats and helmets on the main entrance level, as well as a boot room with hot boot warmers. Chalet Xanadu also features six off-street parking places and a large garage that can only be used for storage, making it ideal for bikes and ski gear.
