    Gstaad Palace

For more than a century, Gstaad has been the go-to ski destination for the jet-set, owing in large part to this fairytale castle. Its opening-season clientele in the winter of 1913 was so impressive that they had to build a ballroom the following spring, and superstars such as Louis Armstrong and Marlene Dietrich were vying for seats at its famed galas. The 5-star Gstaad Palace set on a hill above the picturesque town of Gstaad, you can take in the stunning views of the Swiss Alps. There are 90 elegantly appointed rooms, including 41 Double Rooms, 29 Junior Suites, 13 Suites, 2 Tower Suites, and one magnificent and sophisticated three-bedroom Penthouse Suite. The Gstaad Palace provides gourmet cuisine in five distinct restaurants, live entertainment in two pubs, and dancing at the well-known GreenGo nightclub.
