Nestled away from the hustle and bustle in the heart of Winkelmatten, Chalet Shalimar is a haven of serenity and calm, perfect for large groups, sleeping 20 people in 10 bedrooms. The indoor swimming pool and spa are the best places to rest and unwind after a long day on the slopes.
The centre of Zermatt is only a 15-minute stroll or an electric taxi trip away. Advanced skiers can ski to the chalet (snow permitting), and the gondola nearby takes you to the Glacier Paradise.
Its perfect positioning allows views of the world-famous Matterhorn which are probably some of the best in the resort. Each apartment has a view of this dramatic, breathtaking peak from a balcony or terrace.
The wellness and spa area of Chalet Shalimar is located in the heart of the property, with an indoor swimming pool offering wonderful views of the Matterhorn, a sauna, a hammam and a massage room all on the ground floor of the chalet.
In ten double/twin bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and shower room, the Shalimar Chalet can sleep up to 20 people. Each bedroom can be configured as a double bedroom with single beds.
The chalet can be taken as one or divided into an 8 and a 12-person apartment for groups or families, suitable for big corporate groups, or smaller families. Each one has its own living areas and facilities, so maximum comfort can be achieved when split apartments.
In combination with alpine soft furnishings, the traditional alpine wood can be used throughout the chalet for a relaxing and cosy atmosphere. The upper floor of Chalet Shalimar is dedicated to the living and dining rooms, with doors that allow light to flood in the rooms. The spacious balconies provide the ideal atmosphere for a drink before dinner or for a drink in a warmer season, offering spectacular views of the Matterhorn.
After the sun goes down, relax and relax before the roaring fire on the luxuriant sofas. When the entire chalet is taken in one side of the top floor, 20 people comfortably sit in the main dining room and another in the main living room.
There are also two smaller living areas and two meeting spaces, so there is plenty of space for a quiet spot to rest and refresh.
