Created in 1923 and redesigned in 1964, Mont-d’Arbois golf course in one of the most prestigious mountain golf courses. The 18-hole golf course over 50 hectares is very technical with a privileged environment of the mountains.

2 / Biking and cycling
Megève is very popular for mountain biking, with more than 150 km of trails, more than 500 km of designated cycle paths. There are cycling areas with separate capacity slopes.
The trails offer plenty of thrills and exciting views around Megève, from Rochebrune, Le Mont-d’Arbois and Jaillet.
There are of course several mountain shops where you can either rent or buy bikes and equipment.

Megève is a haven for exciting walkers, with more than 500 km of marked trails. There is something for every age and ability to enjoy, from themed trails and education tours to long treks and athletic challenges.
Discover the fauna and flora on the different path and trails. As the cable cars are open during the summertime, go even higher up and admire the spectacular views of the peak around the Mont Blanc area. You can also see a steeple, marmot, or chamois and the stunning scenery along the way.

Megève has a well-deserved, excellent reputation both in the beautiful old city center and on the slopes for good restaurants. Generally speaking, summertime is busy with people that are on vacation in the resort, but also tourists from Paris and Geneva at the weekend.
Megève is currently one of the most remarkable ambassadors of mountain gastronomy, mainly thanks to its history and its agricultural heritage.
The 45 farms and producers attracted generations of young, talented chefs with an innovative spirit, and set the tone for a village which had always looked for excellence for its products. There are 89 restaurants in town, 4 of which are decorated with Michelin stars, offer a broad selection of savours. Chef Emmanuel Renaut gained 3 stars in 2012 for his restaurant “Flocons de Sel”.
Furthermore, the chefs would no doubt love local cuisine, from Megève's own meat slaughterhouse to the Ferme de Joseph's sorbets and yoghurts, not to mention the plants and herbs which are abundant in the countryside naturally.
All year round, local people and visitors travel around Megève market stalls for a shared local specialty on Friday mornings.
